New escalation in Qamishli… Russian presence under danger

Special sources informed Kurdistan Street News Network that this morning, Thursday, over numerous government departments in the security square, including the Directorate of Agriculture, the Farmers Union, and the Finance Department, the Asayish forces in the city of Qamishli imposed their authority. To prevent injury, they urged the staff members of these departments to get back home right away.

Following many meetings yesterday, Wednesday, at Qamishli International Airport, sources verified to Kurdistan Street that Russian efforts had failed.

The siege of the Kurdish-majority Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh areas of Aleppo by the government led to the escalation in the cities of Qamishli and Hasakah.

Notably, the “Autonomous Administration” claimed that food supplies and relief had not been delivered into the Aleppo besieged areas by the government. After Russian attempts to lift the siege and bring normalcy failed today, Thursday, Qamishli’s escalation started.
