Sources in Raqqa verified that 20 teachers in the al-Kasrat region of the Raqqa countryside were terminated by the Education Committee connected with the autonomous government for not completing a training course.
These sources further said that the allegations the committee leveled against them “their rejection of the closed intellectual course that the Education Authority regularly holds for all teachers, stressing that the unfair dismissal decision led to the loss of livelihoods for 20 families.”
She further said that the autonomous government is trying to push staff members to embrace its beliefs and philosophy by using the challenging living circumstances, high costs, and worsening economic position of the area.
She said that many of the instructors in Raqqa and their surrounding areas had to follow this 30 to 40 day course due to their worsening financial circumstances.
She said that the training covers courses incompatible with Syrian society and its customs. Moreover, the courses carry many intellectual and religious misconceptions that the Autonomous Administration and the SDF still support in traditional Eastern countries.
