Men’s attraction to women’s breasts, is it instinct or “impoliteness”?

A woman’s breasts, regardless of their size, are the first thing most men are attracted to… but the scientific reasons behind this are still unclear. In an attempt to unravel this mystery, human neuroscience researcher Larry Young from Emory University in the United States found a scientific explanation for this attraction in his recent research.

Young believes that the reason for a man’s instinctive attraction to a woman’s breasts goes back to early childhood, when the bond between him and his mother developed during breastfeeding, which plays a role in children’s natural adaptation to breasts.

Jung explains his theory, according to the German website Deutsche Welle, as follows: When a child stimulates his mother’s nipples with his mouth during breastfeeding, a hormone called oxytocin is released in her body, which enhances maternal affection and activates the cells that secrete milk. This strengthens the mother’s bond with her child and her husband, and generates a strong desire to breastfeed.

Jung said that the oxytocin hormone stimulated by nipple stimulation is the same as the “love hormone” in a woman’s body, making her more attentive to her partner.

On the other hand, a researcher specializing in behavioral anthropology disagreed with Jung’s analysis, arguing that not all cultures associate the breast with instinct, the meaning it conveys, and the same amount and degree of attraction and desire. Is men’s attraction to women’s breasts instinctual or “impolite”?
